तस्य दुःखं तथा क्षिप्रं गौतमाय निेवेदितम् । गौतमेन तथेत्युक्त्वा मृदुवाण्या स भाषितः
tasya duḥkhaṃ tathā kṣipraṃ gautamāya niेveditam | gautamena tathetyuktvā mṛduvāṇyā sa bhāṣitaḥ
அவன் தன் துயரத்தை விரைவில் கௌதமரிடம் விண்ணப்பித்தான். கௌதமர் “ததாஸ்து” என்று கூறி, மென்மையான சொற்களால் அவனிடம் பேசினார்।
