அதனால் அது ‘தேவயஜனம்’ என்று பெயர் பெற்றது. வேறிடத்தில் நூறு யாகங்கள் செய்தால் கிடைக்கும் பலன், இங்கே விதிப்படி தக்ஷிணையுடன் ஒரே யாகத்தால் கிடைக்கிறது.
