yastatra kurute snānaṃ śraddhāpūtena cetasā | sa devalokamāsādya pitṛbhiḥ saha modate
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Viśvāmitreśvara-tīrtha (sacred waters)
Type: kund
Scene: A devotee bathes with folded hands and inward faith; above, a luminous devaloka opens; nearby, pitṛs appear serene, receiving the merit and rejoicing with the pilgrim.
Faith (śraddhā) is the purifier that makes ritual fruitful; tīrtha-bathing done with śraddhā yields divine and ancestral welfare.
The same Nāgarakhaṇḍa Adhyāya 44 tīrtha, whose waters are praised as exceptionally meritorious.
Snāna at the tīrtha performed with śraddhā (a faith-filled, purified intention).
