षष्ठेऽहनि ततो जाते पूजयेद्ब्राह्मणोत्तमान् । तांश्च वस्त्रैर्हिरण्येन मिष्टान्नेन प्रभक्तितः
ṣaṣṭhe'hani tato jāte pūjayedbrāhmaṇottamān | tāṃśca vastrairhiraṇyena miṣṭānnena prabhaktitaḥ
பின்னர் ஆறாம் நாள் வந்தபோது சிறந்த பிராமணர்களை மரியாதையுடன் வழிபட்டு, பக்தியுடன் அவர்களுக்கு ஆடைகள், பொன், இனிப்புணவு அளிக்க வேண்டும்.
