नाहं तृप्तिं द्विजश्रेष्ठ प्रगच्छामि कथंचन । शृण्वानस्तु सुमाहात्म्यं क्षेत्रस्यास्य समुद्भवम्
nāhaṃ tṛptiṃ dvijaśreṣṭha pragacchāmi kathaṃcana | śṛṇvānastu sumāhātmyaṃ kṣetrasyāsya samudbhavam
த்விஜச்ரேஷ்டரே! இந்தக் க்ஷேத்திரத்தின் சிறந்த மஹாத்மியமும் தோற்றமும் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தாலும் எனக்கு எவ்விதத்திலும் திருப்தி ஏற்படவில்லை.
