सीतया लक्ष्मणेनैव सार्धं कोपेन संयुतः । अवाच्यं प्रोक्तवान्विप्रास्तौ च तेन समं तदा
sītayā lakṣmaṇenaiva sārdhaṃ kopena saṃyutaḥ | avācyaṃ proktavānviprāstau ca tena samaṃ tadā
கோபத்துடன், சீதையுடனும் லக்ஷ்மணனுடனும் சேர்ந்து இருந்தபோது, சொல்லக்கூடாத வார்த்தைகளை அவன் சொன்னான்; அப்போது அந்த இருவரும் அவனுக்கு அதேபோல் பதிலளித்தனர்.
