विश्वामित्र उवाच । न मामेष द्विजं ब्रूते कथंचित्प्रपितामह । तस्मादेष प्रकोपो मे संजातोऽस्य वधोपरि
viśvāmitra uvāca | na māmeṣa dvijaṃ brūte kathaṃcitprapitāmaha | tasmādeṣa prakopo me saṃjāto'sya vadhopari
விசுவாமித்ரர் கூறினார்—ஓ ப்ரபிதாமஹா, இவன் எவ்விதத்திலும் என்னை ‘த்விஜன்’ என்று ஒப்புக்கொள்ளவில்லை. ஆகவே இவனை வதம் செய்யும் நோக்கில் என் கோபம் எழுந்தது.
