राजोवाच । अहं वः प्रकरिष्यामि रक्षां ब्राह्मणसत्तमाः । तपस्थितोऽपि कार्येऽत्र न भीः कार्या कथंचन
rājovāca | ahaṃ vaḥ prakariṣyāmi rakṣāṃ brāhmaṇasattamāḥ | tapasthito'pi kārye'tra na bhīḥ kāryā kathaṃcana
அரசன் கூறினான்— ஓ பிராமணச் சிறந்தோர்களே! உங்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பை நான் ஏற்பாடு செய்வேன். நான் தவத்தில் நிலைத்திருந்தாலும், இவ்விஷயத்தில் நீங்கள் எவ்விதத்திலும் அஞ்ச வேண்டாம்.
