विष्णोस्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा दक्षश्चिंतापरोऽभवत् । विविर्णवदनो भूत्वा तूष्णीमासीद्भुवि स्थितः
viṣṇostadvacanaṃ śrutvā dakṣaściṃtāparo'bhavat | vivirṇavadano bhūtvā tūṣṇīmāsīdbhuvi sthitaḥ
விஷ்ணுவின் அந்த வார்த்தைகளை கேட்டதும் தக்ஷன் கவலையில் ஆழ்ந்தான். அவன் முகம் வாடியது; தரையில் நின்றபடியே மௌனமாக இருந்தான்।
