नाडीजंघ उवाच । यदर्थं वयमायातास्तन्न सिद्धं महामते । कार्यं तन्मरणं नूनं त्रयाणामप्युपागतम्
nāḍījaṃgha uvāca | yadarthaṃ vayamāyātāstanna siddhaṃ mahāmate | kāryaṃ tanmaraṇaṃ nūnaṃ trayāṇāmapyupāgatam
நாடீஜங்கன் கூறினான்—ஓ மகாமதி! நாம் எந்த நோக்கத்திற்காக வந்தோமோ அது நிறைவேறவில்லை. இப்போது அதே ‘காரியம்’ நிச்சயமாக நம்மூவருக்கும் மரணமாக வந்து சேர்ந்தது.
