Transliteration

prāpito līlayāhatya bāṇaiḥ kusumadhanvinā | tato mayā skhaladvālaṃ pṛṣṭā kasyeti tatsakhī

Translation

மலர்வில்லன் காமதேவன் அம்புகளால் விளையாட்டாகத் தாக்கப்பட்டவன் போல நான் கலங்கினேன். பின்னர் தடுமாறும் சொற்களுடன் அவளின் தோழியிடம் கேட்டேன்—“இவள் யாருடைய மகள்?”
