श्रुत्वा प्रीतिकरं वाक्यं द्विजानामिति पांडव । प्रत्यवोचं मुनीन्द्रांस्ताञ्छ्रूयतां द्विजसत्तमाः
śrutvā prītikaraṃ vākyaṃ dvijānāmiti pāṃḍava | pratyavocaṃ munīndrāṃstāñchrūyatāṃ dvijasattamāḥ
ஓ பாண்டவா, இருபிறப்பினரின் இனிய சொற்களை கேட்டபின், அந்த முனிவர்தலைவர்களிடம் நான் கூறினேன்—“ஓ இருபிறப்பினரிற் சிறந்தவர்களே, கேளுங்கள்।”
