अतस्ताभ्यः फलं ग्राह्यं न स्याद्दोषेक्षणः सुधीः । इति श्रुत्वा तमानर्च मेधातिथिरुदारधीः
atastābhyaḥ phalaṃ grāhyaṃ na syāddoṣekṣaṇaḥ sudhīḥ | iti śrutvā tamānarca medhātithirudāradhīḥ
ஆகையால், அவற்றின் பலனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்; அறிვილი குற்றங்கூறுபவனாக இருக்கக்கூடாது. இதைக் கேட்ட தாராள மனப்பான்மை கொண்ட மேதாதிதி அவரை கௌரவித்தார்.
