तथा रजस्तमश्चैव संशोध्ये सात्त्विकैर्गुणैः । अस्मादेव गुणानां च समवायादनादिजात्
tathā rajastamaścaiva saṃśodhye sāttvikairguṇaiḥ | asmādeva guṇānāṃ ca samavāyādanādijāt
அவ்வாறே ரஜஸ், தமஸ் ஆகியவை சத்த்வ குணங்களால் நன்கு சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். ஏனெனில் இந்த அனாதி சமவாயம் (இணைவு) மூலமே குணங்களின் கலப்பு தோன்றுகிறது.
