बहवोऽपि मया वृद्धा दृष्टाश्चोपासिताः सदा । तेषामीदृशका बुद्धिर्न दृष्टा न श्रुतामया
bahavo'pi mayā vṛddhā dṛṣṭāścopāsitāḥ sadā | teṣāmīdṛśakā buddhirna dṛṣṭā na śrutāmayā
நான் பல முதியவர்களைப் பார்த்துள்ளேன்; எப்போதும் அவர்களைச் சேவித்தும் வந்துள்ளேன். ஆனால் அவர்களிடத்தில் இத்தகைய ஞானத்தை நான் கண்டதுமில்லை, கேட்டதுமில்லை.
