Transliteration

yavāḥ sapta pradātavyā athavā ṣaḍghṛtaplutāḥ | mūrdhni vinyastapatrasya patre caivaṃ niveśayet

Translation

ஏழு யவத் தானியங்களை அளிக்க வேண்டும்; அல்லது நெய்யில் நனைந்த ஆறு தானியங்கள். தலையில் இலை வைக்கப்பட்டவரின் அந்த இலையிலேயே அவற்றை விதிப்படி இவ்வாறு வைக்க வேண்டும்.
