नारद उवाच । ततो विममृशे श्लोको बहुधा समभागिनाम् । अनिश्चयाद्विचार्यासौ घटाद्यैः समभागिता
nārada uvāca | tato vimamṛśe śloko bahudhā samabhāginām | aniścayādvicāryāsau ghaṭādyaiḥ samabhāgitā
நாரதர் கூறினார்—அப்போது அவன் ‘சம பங்காளிகள்’ பற்றிய அந்தச் சுலோகத்தை பலவிதமாக சிந்தித்தான். உறுதி இல்லாததால், குடம் முதலிய கருவிகளால் கூட சம பங்கீடு உண்டா என ஆராய்ந்தான்.
