paṃcāśacca sahasrāṇi saptadvīpāḥ sasāgarāḥ | daśottarāṇi paṃcaiva aṃgulānāṃ śatāni ca

கடல்களுடன் கூடிய ஏழு தீவுகளின் அளவு ஐம்பதாயிரம் ஆகும். மேலும் நுண்ணிய கணக்கில் அங்குலங்கள் ஐந்நூறும் அதற்கு மேலாக பத்தும் உள்ளன.
