ततः पुनः स्कंदमाह प्रहृष्टः केशवोऽरिहा । स्कंदस्कंद महाबाहो बाणोनाम बलात्मजः
tataḥ punaḥ skaṃdamāha prahṛṣṭaḥ keśavo'rihā | skaṃdaskaṃda mahābāho bāṇonāma balātmajaḥ
அப்போது பகைவரை அழிப்பவன் கேசவன் மகிழ்ந்து மீண்டும் ஸ்கந்தனை நோக்கி கூறினான்— “ஸ்கந்தா, ஸ்கந்தா, ஓ மஹாபாஹோ! ‘பாண’ எனும் (அசுரன்) இருக்கிறான்; அவன் பலனின் புதல்வன்.”
