शापितोऽसि मया प्राणैर्यथा वच्मि तथा कुरु । अहं सदा करिष्यामि दर्शे चोद्दिश्यते पितॄन्
śāpito'si mayā prāṇairyathā vacmi tathā kuru | ahaṃ sadā kariṣyāmi darśe coddiśyate pitṝn
என் உயிர்மூச்சின் சத்தியமாக நீ கட்டுப்பட்டவன்—நான் சொல்வதுபோலவே செய். நான் எப்போதும் இந்தச் சடங்கைச் செய்வேன்; அமாவாசையில் பித்ருக்களை நோக்கி தர்ப்பணம் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
