शोचनीयतमा पूर्वमासीत्पार्वति कौमुदी । त्वं संवृत्ता द्वितीयासि तस्यास्तत्संगमाशया
śocanīyatamā pūrvamāsītpārvati kaumudī | tvaṃ saṃvṛttā dvitīyāsi tasyāstatsaṃgamāśayā
ஓ பார்வதி, முன்பு கௌமுதீயே மிகுந்த இரங்கத்தக்கவளாய் இருந்தாள்; இப்போது அவனுடன் சேர்வதற்கான ஆசையால் நீ இரண்டாவதாக ஆகிவிட்டாய்।
