स तानचिंत्य दैत्येंद्रो देवबाणक्षतान्हृदि । बाणैर्व्योम दिशः पृथ्वीं पूरयामास दानवः
sa tānaciṃtya daityeṃdro devabāṇakṣatānhṛdi | bāṇairvyoma diśaḥ pṛthvīṃ pūrayāmāsa dānavaḥ
ஆனால் அந்த தைத்தியேந்திரன் அஞ்சாது நின்றான்; தேவர்களின் அம்புகளால் இதயத்தில் காயமுற்றும், தன் அம்புவீச்சால் வானம், திசைகள், பூமி அனைத்தையும் நிரப்பினான்.
