अंतर्गेहस्य सीमानं प्राप्तस्तेन सहाधुना । स तु कार्पटिको मध्यं प्रविष्टोहमिहस्थितः
aṃtargehasya sīmānaṃ prāptastena sahādhunā | sa tu kārpaṭiko madhyaṃ praviṣṭohamihasthitaḥ
இப்போது அவனுடன் நான் உள்முற்றத்தின் எல்லையை அடைந்தேன்; அந்த கிழிந்த ஆடை அணிந்த பிச்சைக்காரன் நடுவில் புகுந்தான், நான் இங்கேயே நின்றிருக்கிறேன்.
