இது மதுத்வேஷ்ட்ரன் (விஷ்ணு) படைத்த, படைப்பாளனின் வழக்கமான படைப்புக்கு மாறான ஓர் அதிசய உருவமோ? அல்லது அமாவாசை மற்றும் ராகுவின் அச்சத்தால் பிறந்த நிலவொத்த ஒளியோ?
