अशोकवर्तिनैवेद्यैर्धूपैश्चागुरुसंभवैः । कुंकुमेनानुलिप्यादावेकभक्तं ततश्चरेत्
aśokavartinaivedyairdhūpaiścāgurusaṃbhavaiḥ | kuṃkumenānulipyādāvekabhaktaṃ tataścaret
அசோகத்திலிருந்து தயாரித்த நைவேத்யங்களாலும் அகுருவில் இருந்து செய்த தூபத்தாலும் (தேவியை) வழிபட வேண்டும்; முதலில் குங்குமம் பூசி, பின்னர் ஏகபக்த விரதம்—ஒரே வேளை உணவு—கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டும்.
