उदयानुदयौ प्राज्ञैर्द्रष्टव्यौ पुष्पवंतयोः । सदैकरूपताऽत्याज्या हर्षाहर्षौ ततोऽध्रुवौ

Transliteration

udayānudayau prājñairdraṣṭavyau puṣpavaṃtayoḥ | sadaikarūpatā'tyājyā harṣāharṣau tato'dhruvau

Translation

மலர்மிகு செடிகளில் எழுச்சியும் வீழ்ச்சியும் காண்பதுபோல், ஞானிகள் உயர்வும் தாழ்வும் நோக்க வேண்டும்; எப்போதும் ஒரே நிலை வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசையை விட்டொழிக்க வேண்டும்—ஆகவே மகிழ்ச்சியும் துயரும் நிலைபெறாதவை.
