vipadyapi hi te dhanyā na ye dainyapraṇoditāḥ | dhanairmalinacittānāmālabhaṃteṃgaṇaṃ kvacit

Translation

துன்பத்திலும் தாழ்மையால் இழுக்கப்படாதவர்கள் நிச்சயமாகப் பாக்கியவான்கள். ஆனால் செல்வத்தால் மாசுபட்ட மனத்தினர் சிலவேளை செல்வத்தின் வலிமையாலேயே முற்றம்—அதாவது நிலைபெறும் இடம்—பெறுகின்றனர்.
