Transliteration

tadālāpāmṛtadhayau na me śabdagrahau priye | prāṇeśvari tadārabhya syātāṃ śabdāṃtaragrahau

Translation

அன்பே—என் உயிரின் அரசியே! அவளின் உரையாடல்-அமுதத்திலிருந்து நான் வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்ட நாள்முதல், என் காதுகள் உண்மையான ஒலியைப் பெறுவதில்லை; அன்றிலிருந்து அவை அவள் குரலற்ற ‘வேறு ஒலிகள்’ மட்டுமே பிடிக்கின்றன।
