प्रोक्तोसावुपकुर्वाणो द्वितीयस्तत्र नैष्ठिकः । तिष्ठेत्तावद्गुरुकुले यावत्स्यादायुषः क्षयः
proktosāvupakurvāṇo dvitīyastatra naiṣṭhikaḥ | tiṣṭhettāvadgurukule yāvatsyādāyuṣaḥ kṣayaḥ
இங்கு ‘உபகுர்வாணன்’ எனக் கூறப்பட்டது; இரண்டாவது ‘நைஷ்டிகன்’. அவன் ஆயுள் முடியும் வரை—ஆயுள் குன்றும் வரையில்—குருகுலத்தில் தங்க வேண்டும்.
