क्रमाद्द्वैगुण्यमेतस्माद्ब्रह्मचर्यादिषु त्रिषु । दिवाविहित शौचस्य रात्रावर्धं समाचरेत्
kramāddvaiguṇyametasmādbrahmacaryādiṣu triṣu | divāvihita śaucasya rātrāvardhaṃ samācaret
இந்தச் சுத்தி அளவை பிரம்மச்சரியம் முதலான மூன்று ஆசிரமங்களில் முறையே இரட்டிப்பாக்க வேண்டும். இரவில், பகலில் விதிக்கப்பட்ட சுத்தியின் பாதியையே மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
