क्षारस्वादूदयोरेव यदासीज्जलदर्शनम् । प्रथिव्यां नरसंचारे वतर्माने क्वचित्क्वचित्
kṣārasvādūdayoreva yadāsījjaladarśanam | prathivyāṃ narasaṃcāre vatarmāne kvacitkvacit
பூமியில் மனிதர்கள் அலைந்து திரியும் நிலையில், நீர் எங்கோ எங்கோ மட்டுமே காணப்பட்டு, அதுவும் உவர்ப்போ இனிப்போ என்ற இருவகையிலேயே இருந்தபோது—நீரின் தட்டுப்பாடு வெளிப்பட்டது।
