न वर्षंति यदाभ्राणि न प्रावर्तंत निम्रगाः । जलाभिलाषो न यदा स्नानपानादि कर्मणि
na varṣaṃti yadābhrāṇi na prāvartaṃta nimragāḥ | jalābhilāṣo na yadā snānapānādi karmaṇi
மேகங்கள் மழை பொழியாமல், நதிகள் ஓடாமல் போகும் போது—குளியல், குடிநீர் முதலிய செயல்களுக்கே நீராசை கூட மறையும் போது—அப்போது உலகம் பெருந்துயரில் ஆழ்கிறது।
