gobhūhiraṇyadānena bhaktyā gaṃgātaṭe śubhe | naro na jāyate bhūyaḥ saṃsāre duḥkhakaṃṭake

Translation

புனிதமான கங்கைத் துறையில் பக்தியுடன் பசு, நிலம், பொன் ஆகியவற்றை தானம் செய்தால், துயரமுள்ள முள்ளுக்காடு போன்ற இந்தச் சம்சாரத்தில் மீண்டும் பிறப்பு இல்லை.
