दानभोगरताः सर्वे श्रौतस्मार्तेषु संमताः । मांडव्यगोत्रे विज्ञेयाः प्रवरैः पंचभिर्युताः
dānabhogaratāḥ sarve śrautasmārteṣu saṃmatāḥ | māṃḍavyagotre vijñeyāḥ pravaraiḥ paṃcabhiryutāḥ
அவர்கள் அனைவரும் தானம் மற்றும் இன்பங்களில் திளைப்பவர்கள்; ஸ்ரௌத, ஸ்மார்த்த நெறிகளில் ஏற்கப்பட்டவர்கள். ஐந்து பிரவரங்களைக் கொண்ட மாண்டவ்ய கோத்திரத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களாக அவர்களை அறிய வேண்டும்.
