महादेव उवाच । कथं व्यग्राः सुराः सर्वे बृहस्पतिपुरोगमाः । तत्समाचक्ष्व मां ब्रह्मन्भवतां दुःखकारणम्
mahādeva uvāca | kathaṃ vyagrāḥ surāḥ sarve bṛhaspatipurogamāḥ | tatsamācakṣva māṃ brahmanbhavatāṃ duḥkhakāraṇam
மகாதேவன் கூறினார்—“பிருஹஸ்பதி முன்னிலையில் எல்லா தேவர்களும் ஏன் கலங்குகின்றனர்? ஓ பிரஹ்மன் (பிரஹ்மா), உங்கள் துயரத்தின் காரணத்தை எனக்குச் சொல்।”
