अथ दैत्यः समुत्तस्थौ भृशं बद्धोपि भूतले । दृष्ट्वोत्थितं ततो दैत्यं पातयंतं सुरोत्तमान्
atha daityaḥ samuttasthau bhṛśaṃ baddhopi bhūtale | dṛṣṭvotthitaṃ tato daityaṃ pātayaṃtaṃ surottamān
பின்னர் அந்த தைத்யன் நிலத்தில் இறுகக் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தாலும் வலிமையுடன் எழுந்தான். எழுந்து தேவர்களில் சிறந்தவர்களை வீழ்த்த முயல்வதைப் பார்த்து (அனைவரும் திகைத்தனர்).
