इत्याकर्ण्य यमः शापं मातर्यतिविशंकितः । अभ्येत्य पितरं प्राह प्रणिपातपुरस्सरम्
ityākarṇya yamaḥ śāpaṃ mātaryativiśaṃkitaḥ | abhyetya pitaraṃ prāha praṇipātapurassaram
அந்த சாபத்தை கேட்ட யமன் தாயைப் பற்றிக் கடும் கலக்கமடைந்தான். தந்தையிடம் சென்று முதலில் வணங்கி பின்னர் உரைத்தான்.
