एवं स्तुतो महादेवः सोमराजेन पाण्डव । तुष्टस्तस्य नृपश्रेष्ठ शिवया शङ्करोऽब्रवीत्
evaṃ stuto mahādevaḥ somarājena pāṇḍava | tuṣṭastasya nṛpaśreṣṭha śivayā śaṅkaro'bravīt
பாண்டவா, சோமராஜன் இவ்வாறு ஸ்துதி செய்தபோது மகாதேவன் மகிழ்ந்தான். அப்போது சிவா (உமா) உடன் சங்கரன் அந்தச் சிறந்த அரசனிடம் கூறினான்.
