गङ्गोवाच । त्वत्पादकमलाद्भ्रष्टा गङ्गा सहचरा विभो । यदृच्छया त्रिलोकेश वन्द्यमाना दिवौकसैः
gaṅgovāca | tvatpādakamalādbhraṣṭā gaṅgā sahacarā vibho | yadṛcchayā trilokeśa vandyamānā divaukasaiḥ
கங்கை கூறினாள்—ஓ விபோ! நான் கங்கை, உமது துணைவி; உமது திருப்பாதத் தாமரையிலிருந்து வழுந்து இங்கே வந்தேன். ஓ திரிலோகேசா! தேவர்களால் வணங்கப்பட்டவளாய், விதிவசமாக (இங்கே) நிலைத்தேன்.
