विष्णुरुवाच । तपसा तव तुष्टोऽहं मत्पादाम्बुजसम्भवे । मत्तः किमिच्छसे देवि ब्रूहि किं करवाणि ते
viṣṇuruvāca | tapasā tava tuṣṭo'haṃ matpādāmbujasambhave | mattaḥ kimicchase devi brūhi kiṃ karavāṇi te
விஷ்ணு கூறினார்—என் திருப்பாதத் தாமரையிலிருந்து தோன்றிய தேவியே! உன் தவத்தால் நான் மகிழ்ந்தேன். என்னிடமிருந்து நீ என்ன வரம் விரும்புகிறாய்? சொல்; உனக்காக நான் என்ன செய்வேன்?
