Samhita Patha (Devanagari) ऋध॑गि॒त्था स मर्त्य॑: शश॒मे दे॒वता॑तये । यो नू॒नं मि॒त्रावरु॑णाव॒भिष्ट॑य आच॒क्रे ह॒व्यदा॑तये
Transliteration ṛ́dhag itthā́ sá mártyaḥ śaśamé devátātataye | yó nūnáṃ mitrā́varuṇāv abhíṣṭaya ācakré havyádātaye
Translation இவ்வாறு முறையாக அந்த மானவன் தேவர்களை அடைவதற்காக அமைதி/திருப்தியைப் பெறுகிறான்—இப்போது மித்ர-வருணருக்காக, அவர்களின் அபிஷ்டி (பாதுகாப்பு)க்காகவும், ஹவ்யதானம் (அர்ப்பணப் பொருள் வழங்கல்) முறையாக நிகழ்வதற்காகவும் (இந்த யாகச் செயலை) செய்தவன்.
