Transliteration yéna r̄́ṣayas tápasā satrám ā́yan índhānā agníṃ svàrā́bharantaḥ | tásminn aháṃ ní dadhé nā́ke agníṃ yám āhúr mánavaḥ stī́rṇabarhiṣam
Translation எதனால் ரிஷிகள் தவத்தால் சத்ரத்திற்கு சென்றார்களோ—அக்னியை ஏற்றி, விண்ணுலக ஒளிகளை முன்னே கொண்டு சென்றார்களோ—அதிலே நான் இப்போது நாகே (ஆகாச-லோகத்தில்) அந்த அக்னியை நிறுவுகிறேன்; மனுவின் புதல்வர்கள் ‘ஸ்தீர்ணபர்ஹிஷ்’ (பர்ஹிஸ்/குசம் விரிக்கப்பட்ட) அக்னி என்று அழைப்பதையே.
