आ न इन्दो शतग्विनं रयिं गोमन्तमश्विनम् । भरा सोम सहस्रिणम् ॥
Transliteration
ā na indó śatagvínam rayíṃ gómantam aśvínam | bhárā soma sahasríṇam ||
Translation
ஓ இந்து, எங்களுக்கு சதக்வின்—நூறுமடங்கு நிறைவு—கொண்டு வா; கோமன் (ஒளிக்கதிர்களால் நிறைந்த) மற்றும் அஷ்வின் (வேகமிக்க, முன்னேற்ற ஆற்றலுடன்) செல்வம். ஓ சோமா, அதை ஸஹஸ்ரிண்—ஆயிரம் ஓடைகள் போன்ற பெருக்காக—சுமந்து எங்களிடம் அருள்வாயாக.
