Sukta 5.44
प्र व एते सुयुजो यामन्निष्टये नीचीरमुष्मै यम्य ऋतावृधः । सुयन्तुभिः सर्वशासैरभीशुभिः क्रिविर्नामानि प्रवणे मुषायति ॥
prá va ete suyújo yā́mann iṣṭáye nī́cīr amúṣmai yamyá ṛtā́vṛdhaḥ | suyántubhiḥ sarvaśā́sair abhī́śubhiḥ krívir nā́māni praváṇe muṣāyati ||
இவை சுயுஜ (நன்றாக இணைக்கப்பட்ட) சக்திகள், அபிஷ்டி (இஷ்ட-நிறைவேற்றம்) பெறும் பயணத்தில் முன்னே செல்கின்றன; அந்த (தேவன்/யஜமானன்) பொருட்டு கீழ்நோக்கி வணங்கி, ருதத்தால் வளர்கின்றன. எல்லா சாஸனங்களுடனும், அபீஷு (கட்டுப்பாட்டு கயிறு/கதிர்கள்) எனும் ஆளும் கதிர்களுடனும்—சரிவில் ‘கிரிவி’ பெயர்களை (நிலைத்த அடையாளங்களை) அபகரிக்கிறான்.
