Sukta 4.55
आ पर्वतस्य मरुतामवांसि देवस्य त्रातुरव्रि भगस्य । पात्पतिर्जन्यादंहसो नो मित्रो मित्रियादुत न उरुष्येत् ॥
ā párvatasya marútām avā́ṃsi devásya trātúr avri bhágasya | pā́t patír janyā́d áṃhaso no mitró mitriyā́d utá na uruṣyet ||
பர்வதத்தின் உறுதியான தாங்குதல்கள்—மேலே தள்ளும் அடித்தளம்—மற்றும் மருத்களின் உதவும் வலிமைகள் எங்களிடம் வருக; தெய்வத் த்ராதா பகன், எங்கள் மீட்பிற்காக, தன் காக்கப்பட்ட செல்வத்தை விரிக்கட்டும். பாத்பதி (பாலக-அதிபதி) எங்களைப் பாதுகாக்கட்டும்; அஹஸ (கிளேசம்/இடர்) இலிருந்து எங்களைப் பிறப்பித்து வெளியே கொண்டு வரட்டும். மித்ரன் எங்களை மித்ரியா—நட்பு-ஒற்றுமை—யில் வளர்க்கட்டும்; மேலும் எங்களை காத்தருளட்டும்.
