Sukta 2.35
अस्मै बहूनामवमाय सख्ये यज्ञैर्विधेम नमसा हविर्भिः । सं सानु मार्ज्मि दिधिषामि बिल्मैर्दधाम्यन्नैः परि वन्द ऋग्भिः ॥
asmái bahūnā́m avamā́ya sákhyē yajñáir vidhema námasā havírbhiḥ | sáṃ sā́nu mārjmi dídhiṣāmi bílmair dadhā́my ánnaiḥ pári vande ṛ́g-bhiḥ ||
அவருக்காக—பலருக்கும், தாழ்ந்தவர்களுக்கும் நண்பனான அவருக்காக—யஜ்ஞங்களால், வணக்கத்தால், ஹவிஸ்களால் நாம் யஜனம் செய்வோம். நான் உச்சியைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்துகிறேன்; உறுதியான தாங்குகளால் ஆதாரங்களை நிறுவுகிறேன்; அன்னமாகிய ஊட்டத்தை வைக்கிறேன்; ரிக் ஸ்தோத்திரங்களால் அவரைச் சூழ்ந்து வணங்குகிறேன்.
