Sukta 2.16
यस्मादिन्द्राद्बृहतः किं चनेमृते विश्वान्यस्मिन्त्सम्भृताधि वीर्या । जठरे सोमं तन्वी सहो महो हस्ते वज्रं भरति शीर्षणि क्रतुम् ॥
yasmā́d índrād bṛhatáḥ kíṃ caném ṛté víśvāny asmint sambhṛtā́dhi vīryā́ | jaṭháre sómaṃ tanvī́ sahó mahó háste vájraṃ bhárati śī́rṣaṇi krátum ||
விசாலமான இந்திரனிடமிருந்து யாரும்—சிறிதளவும்—பிரிந்து இருக்க முடியாது; எல்லா வீர்ய-சக்திகளும் அவனிடமே சேர்க்கப்பட்டு நிலைபெற்றுள்ளன. அவன் ஜடரத்தில் சோமம்; உடலில் ஸஹோ, மஹோ (வலமும் மகிமையும்); கையில் வஜ்ரத்தைத் தாங்குகிறான்; தலைவில் க்ரது (செயல்படுத்தும் ஞான-இச்சை) உள்ளது.
