Sukta 10.52
मां देवा दधिरे हव्यवाहमपम्लुक्तं बहु कृच्छ्रा चरन्तम् । अग्निर्विद्वान्यज्ञं नः कल्पयाति पञ्चयामं त्रिवृतं सप्ततन्तुम् ॥
mā́ṃ devā́ dadhire havya-vā́ham ápamluktaṃ bahú kṛcchrā́ cárantam | agnír vidvā́n yajñáṃ naḥ kalpayāti páñca-yāmam tri-vṛ́taṃ saptá-tantum ||
தேவர்கள் என்னை ஹவ்யவாஹன் (ஆஹுதி-வாகன்) என நிறுவினர்—தளராதவன், பல துன்பங்களைக் கடந்து செல்பவன். யஜ்ஞத்தை அறிந்த அக்னி நமக்காக யாகத்தை அமைக்கிறான்—பஞ்சயாமம், திரிவ்ருத், ஸப்ததந்து—ஒழுங்குபடுத்தப்பட்ட சிந்தனை-வேலை.
