Sukta 10.52
अयं यो होता किरु स यमस्य कमप्यूहे यत्समञ्जन्ति देवाः । अहरहर्जायते मासिमास्यथा देवा दधिरे हव्यवाहम् ॥
ayáṃ yó hotā́ kíru sá yámasya kám apy ū́he yát sam-añjánti devā́ḥ | áhar-ahar jā́yate mā́si-māsi áthā devā́ dadhire havya-vā́ham ||
இந்த ஹோதா—அவன் யார்? யமனின் மர்மத்தையும் நான் உள்ளத்தில் ஆராய்கிறேன்; ஏனெனில் தேவர்கள் அவனை அபிஷேகம் செய்து அமைத்தெழுப்புகின்றனர். அவன் நாள்தோறும், மாதந்தோறும் பிறக்கிறான்; இவ்வாறே தேவர்கள் ஹவ்யவாஹன் (ஆஹுதி-வாகன்) என்பதை நிறுவினர்.
