Sukta 10.47
वनीवानो मम दूतास इन्द्रं स्तोमाश्चरन्ति सुमतीरियानाः । हृदिस्पृशो मनसा वच्यमाना अस्मभ्यं चित्रं वृषणं रयिं दाः ॥
vanīvā́nō máma dūtā́sa índraṃ stómāś caranti sumatī́r iyānā́ḥ | hṛdíspṛśo mánasā vacyámānā asmábhyaṃ citráṃ vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ rayíṃ dāḥ ||
என் ஸ்தோத்திரங்கள், ஆவல்மிகு தூதர்கள் போல, இந்திரனை நோக்கிச் செல்கின்றன—ஸுமதி (நல்லெண்ணம்) பாதைகளில் பயணித்து. ஹ்ருதி-ஸ்ப்ருஷ் (இதயத்தைத் தொடுபவை), மனஸா வச்ச்யமான (மனத்தால் உருவாகி வாக்காகச் சொல்லப்படுபவை)—அவை எங்களுக்கு சித்ரமும் வ்ருஷணமும் ஆன ரயியைப் பெற்றுத் தரட்டும்.
